this past summer when you photoed my paintings I enjoyed the brief snippets of art conversation with you. I immediatly sensed your sharp knowledge of painting. Reading you reviews has been a great pleasure, so insightful in your analysis of work, of putting it in a larger context, etc. I think your writting on art is among the best around.
