Nice piece of criticism, esp your point about the lip service it pays to real estate issues, and its focus on Martin's inner circle, rather than big talents who emerged from Williamsburg, like Eve Sussman via Roebling Hall.

I saw women dealers clear out of Williamsburg as quickly as possible, for good reason - besides Becky Smith, is there any women dealers interviewed in Martin's film? It was totally shocking the level of viciousness directed towards women by the dealers interviewed in the film - this is a story that Martin will never tell about, maybe he is blind to it. Pierogi is not known for showing many women artists, so the whole scene is/was very male, and very sexist.
