Boston returned Ken Johnson to NY and acquired Franklin Einspruch?? Totally brilliant! How did they pull that off ?? No wonder New York is losing congressmen. Maybe its time to move to Boston.

John Link is right, though I can't say I cared particularly for any of the pictures on the site. Boston is lucky to have Einspruch. Let's see if they will tolerate clear-eyed criticism.

This raises my hopes that real criticism is still alive. Rather than approach the work as intellectual objects, Franklin Einspruch looks at the stuff and lets his feeling for it guide his words with his intellect following along for the ride, rather than leading. It is a superb ride through this show, with points all well taken and visible in the repros. The two footnote paragraphs are interesting too. I wish he would take his eyes, feelings, and brain on a more extended journey through that work as well. Maybe some other time. Meantime, bravo!
