					<description><![CDATA[When I was at Rinehart in 1978-80, I was carving large scale relief in styrofoam, and Raoul approached me and turned me on to a book about the relief carving of Agostino di Duccio, entitled &quot;The Stones of Rimini&quot; by Adrian Stokes.  Still one of the best books ever written about sculpture and about stone.  At that time, Raoul was painting pictures of tugboats that remind me of these girls here in a way.  Anyone with half a brain who passed thru the Institute is an admirer of Raoul Middleman.]]></description>
