					<description><![CDATA[A very insightful essay with complex ideas expressed in a clear and straightforward manner.I will recommend this to other painters and especially to my students. I particularly liked the reference to Morandi and the notion that &quot;It is as if I were seeing forms that evoked idea rather than thing.&quot; This is a simple idea but often hard for beginning artists to grasp. Painting is always metaphor.]]></description>
