Hello! I'm not sure if people realise that Steve Wheeler was actually born as Stephen Brosnatch in Slovakia? He reinvented his artistic style and tore up his previous works when he changed his name in the late 40's. Learning this came to a great surprise to me in 12/17, as my name is Steve Brosnac, and he was my great uncle whom I was named after. His brother, Andrew created artwork for the pulp fiction magazine Weird Tales in its early days. I discovered art myself 2 years ago at 46 years old as art therapy for chronic pain and depression following a severe injury, and i've tapped into a part of my brain that feels closely connected to my past. I'd love for those interested to check out my website, which features most of my works, many of which have won national art award and are in private collections across the US and Europe. Anyone in New York listening :)? I'd love to share my vision with those that connect with my art. Thank you for reading!
