					<description><![CDATA[I like these paintings and I agree with the statement, that to know them, you need to see them in the flesh… I wish I could. In viewing these reproductions I had a feeling that I was seeing something familiar. I finally placed this feeling in the the work of Elmer Bischoff, of the 1970&#039;s and 80&#039;s. Bischoff painted using acrylic at this point, rather than oil, a potential big difference but the tangible feeling of the two is very similar. Bischoff was also a jazz musician and knew much about improvisation. The artist may not have known this but the reviewer certainly should have and made some mention.]]></description>
