I have been seeing that painting of Marie Antoinette in reproduction vaguely thinking She and Elizabeth Vigee Le Brun must have been friends, but the sense of the times seemed fussy and put me off. Only Chardin seemed able to transcend that feeling, but now I will look again. So thanks.]]></description>
