Featured item from THE LIST: Eve Aschheim, Lines Without Outlines at ‘T’ Space, Rhinebeck, NY

Now in its eighth summer season, ‘T’ Space, a gallery designed by Steven Holl on the architect’s Dutchess County campus, offers an ambitious program of solo presentations and other projects. To launch her exhibition this weekend, Eve Aschheim teams up with poet Susan Stewart and pianist Christopher Oldfather who will perform works by Earle Brown and Morton Feldman. John Goodrich, writing in these pages in 2013, has said of Aschheim: “Everywhere one senses the artist’s diligent attention. What might a line do here? What would it say to this form here? The viewer absorbs this process of richly accumulating associations: the openness and searching of scattered lines, the conversations between paired forms, the transience evoked by scraped-down surfaces. The separate sensations gather as mysterious, multivalent impressions.”

Reception, Saturday, August 12, 3-6pm with poetry and music at 4.15pm
Summer hours: Sundays, 11am to 3pm
137 Round Lake Road, Rhinebeck, NY
