The Big Freeze

In respite to the elements, artcritical extends a warm welcome to the many visitors in town for Frieze New York and related activities. We have been offering our (usually weekly) artcritical pick on a daily basis as there is obviously so much to showcase. On Wednesday, for instance, David Cohen put the spotlight on a solo booth featuring David Humphrey out on Randalls Island: a detail of that painting, to the right, could very well represent “the unknown art fair visitor” succumbing to exhaustion. Despite the excess of things to do and see, the intrepid will want to use this weekend for last minute viewing of the four shows up for discussion at The Review Panel Tuesday, detailed below.
