Ruth Miller’s hypnotizing show at Lohin Geduld finds an artist at the height of her career. There is a curious mix of absolute confidence and a kind of mystical haze in the work, as though states of mind are revealed in the painting process. And the color is absolutely unbelievable: color and light fused together, with unlikely and bizarre color transitions that create monumental massive forms or, at times, flat misty silhouettes. The work is so strong and so complex. ELISA JENSEN
